How To Make Your 3D Valentines Card
To make your card start by printing it off onto white paper or cardstock, choosing the pages that you want to use.
You can use any combination of pieces that you like for the main body of the card but remember that you will also need to print out a base for each card that you are making.
This craft can be made using either normal printer paper or white cardstock however I would recommend if possible that you use cardstock, this is because it makes the card a bit sturdier.
If you are making this craft in a classroom though you might find it more appropriate to use paper.
Color in all the parts of your card using markers, coloring pencils or crayons. Colored markers will give the brightest results for this.
I’ve colored my bear in brown but you can choose any color you like – or you could leave your bear white if you’d prefer.
Make sure you also complete the To and Love From sections or the bit about why the recipient if your best friend / why you love them if that’s appropriate.
Using scissors cut around the outline of your design. I’ve cut close to the actual design but there is a dotted line around the edge of the template which gives it a bit more room for cutting which is easier to use.
Glue the two sides of each design and leave it to dry if needed. Glue sticks can be better for this craft than school glue (Elmers) / PVA glue as this takes longer to dry. It depends on how patient you and your child are feeling!
Once the glue is dry cut along the dotted line on the template.
Slot the two pieces of card together to make your Valentines card 3D.

Love it! Turned out really pretty. Best homemade valentines day card to bring to a friend a daycare. My son colored one side of the bear and I did the other side. It was a fun craft to make. Thank you. 🙂
