Printable Fathers Day Card To Color
I think that handmade gifts and cards from kids are normally the nicest and they’re the ones that we’re most likely to keep as keepsakes over the years. I love looking back at the things my kids have made for Mother’s Day and I know that the same applies to so many dads when it comes to Fathers Day.
These sweet printable Fathers Day cards are perfect for kids to color with their rocket design as well as aliens, stars and a cute little flag with a heart on it.
You can print as many copies of this Fathers Day rocket card as you like so while it’s perfect for making at home you can also use it in the classroom too.
Fathers Day Card Designs
The PDF file for this card contains three different designs so that you can choose which one is your favorite or which works best for your family. When you are ready to print your templates just choose the ones that you wish to use.
For all three cards you will also need to use the first page which has the base plate on it that’s needed to make the card 3D.
The first design says ‘Happy Fathers Day’ on one side of the rocket and with to and love from on the back.
The second design says ‘Best Dad In The World’ on the front of the design and has ‘Happy Fathers Day’ and to and love from as well.
The third design has ‘I Love You To The Moon And Back’ on the front of the card and again has to and love from on the back.

How To Make Your 3D Fathers Day Card
Start by printing out your chosen pages onto white cardstock. You can use white printer paper for this if you don’t have access to cardstock but the paper tends to be more flimsy and isn’t so good at standing up and also colors are more likely to show through it when you color it so if possible go with the cardstock.
Next color in the different parts of your card, don’t forget you’ll need to color both sides of the rocket as well as the two pieces that will make the stand at the bottom. Make sure that you also fill out the to and from sections.
Cut out all four pieces of the card and glue the front and back sections together.
Once the glue is dry use your scissors to make a cut in the top of the stand and the bottom of the rocket piece following the dotted lines.
You can now slot your card together to make it 3D.
