Christmas Tree Free Printable Christmas Cards
Giving a Christmas greeting card that you’ve made yourself is a great way to show someone that you care and I’m sure you can think of lots of family members or friends that would love to receive this from your child.
I know my kids Grandparents would love to receive these holiday cards and unlike most Christmas crafts they’re nice and easy to pop in the post too.
In the design you’ll find a Christmas tree as well as a robin, holly, Christmas stocking and of course the outline of some letters to color.
I know that as a mom I tend to collect each year’s Christmas card that my kids have made and I’m sure other people do too so this would make a great little keepsake too, they’re so much more personal than a store-bought card!
This card design is free and you can print as many copies as you’d like,so while it’s a fun activity to do at home together it would be a great activity to do in preschool, in a classroom or in Sunday School too.
Its single-fold design means that it doesn’t take much effort to make this either, all you need to do is add your own unique message inside of the card. Although if that’s just ‘season’s greetings’ or ‘happy holidays’ that’s good by us.
Colouring is a great quiet time activity for kids and it’s one that lots of adults don’t mind joining in with too so why not print yourself off a copy as well and sit together while you colour in your cards. Don’t forget to grab a hot chocolate and pop some Christmas songs or your favorite Christmas movies on too!
How To Print Your Christmas Card
The PDF file for this card has two Christmas card templates in it, this is to make sure that you get the right size for your printer and that the card is able to fold properly once you have colored it in.
The first card is US Letter sized and the second is UK A4 size.
Once you’ve received your PDF just print as many copies as you would like of the card in the correct format by choosing page one or page two.
But don’t worry – I’ll pop a reminder about the different sizes when it’s sent to you.
I would recommend using card stock to print this card on if you can as it will mean that your card is able to stand up properly but if all you have available is printer paper then I’m sure that will be fine too.
