Free Printable Angel Christmas Card Template
As soon as Halloween is over my kids are ready to start thinking about Christmas and I can’t blame them, it’s called the most wonderful time of the year for a reason. I love all the decorations, gift giving and opportunities to do something festive and fun together.
Our 3D angel Christmas card printable is perfect for kids to make and is perfect for sending to friends and family.
You can print as many copies of the craft template as you like too so it’s perfect for Christmas classroom activities or making in Sunday schools as well as for a festive craft to make at home.
Inside the PDF file you’ll find five pages to download. The first includes the base of the angel craft as well as a picture of what your finished craft should look like.
The second and third pages are the main body parts of our 3D angel Christmas card, one with a greetings prompt on the back saying ‘To….. Merry Christmas Love From…..’ and one left blank so that you can write your own message on it.
The fourth and fifth pages are our angel Christmas craft. One with the angel’s face drawn in and one with the face left blank so that you can design your own angel.

How to Make a 3D Angel Christmas Card Craft
You’ll Need
- Angel Christmas card PDF
- White paper or cardstock
- Colored markers, coloring pencils or crayons
Instructions
Print your angel Christmas card PDF onto white paper or cardstock.

Whether you want to make an angel Christmas card or the 3D craft you will need to print out the first page of the PDF which includes the stand then you print the following page which corresponds to the craft you want to make.
Color in the stand and front and back parts of your angel. If you are making the Christmas card then grab a marker and write your name and who the card is for in the spaces provided.

Cut out the two stand sections and two body parts using scissors, you’ll find a dotted line around each part to help guide you.

Glue the two stand pieces and two angel bodies together back to back so that the design is on the outside.
Use your scissors to cut into the top of the stand and the bottom of the angel’s body along the dotted lines.

Slot the two pieces together so that your parts join and the angel can stand upright.

Tips for Teachers or Parents
While you can use normal printer paper for this printable Christmas card opting for thicker paper or cardstock instead will make it a little more sturdy.
Using the fourth design with a blank angel face means that kids can design their own angel, draw themselves as an angel or you could even cut out and glue on a photo of their face.

How to Make a 3D Printable Angel Christmas Card for Kids
Materials
- Angel card template PDF
- White paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Coloring pencils or markers
Instructions
- Print the first page and the page showing the craft you want onto white paper or cardstock.

- Color in the angel and the base of the card.

- Cut out all the pieces following the dotted line.

- Glue the matching parts of the craft back to back.
- Cut a slot into the stand and the angel's body following the guidance lines on the printable.

- Slot the two parts of the card together so that it can stand up.
