Q-Tips
Have you tried painting with Q-Tips? They’re also known as cotton buds and they’re a great alternative to using a paintbrush.
I made this this cotton bud painted Chinese dragon craft with my daughter and we both had really good fun making them.
Cardboard Tube
Cut the dragon’s head out and stick it onto a large cardboard tube to make a simple body for it.
Pom Poms
Pom poms are another alternative to using a paintbrush that we’ve used a lot over the years and I love the texture that they give to your art.
You can paint the dragon’s face with pom poms dipped in paint but if you don’t like the feel of paint on your fingers then try holding the pom pom with a clothes peg.
Mosaic
Grab the glue and scissors then cut out pieces of colored paper to make a mosaic.
Red is the colour most traditionally used for Chinese New Year but you could use other colors too.
