Beehive Craft Ideas
Coloring
Coloring has to be one of the easiest kids activities to set up and this printable is perfect for using as a beehive coloring page.
All you need to do is print out the template onto plain white printer paper and then grab your favorite crayons, coloring pencils or markers and you’re ready to get started.
Torn paper
We love this effect for an alternative to traditional coloring and this beehive craft is also a great way to use up any scrap paper you have or any paper that might be in your recycling pile.
Use a glue stick or school glue (PVA glue) to cover the beehive shape and then tear out pieces of colored paper that you can then glue onto your template.
This is a great alternative too using scissors to if you fancy trying out something different.
Sponge or Pom Pom Painting
Create a textured effect on the body of your beehive by dipping a sponge or pom pom into some paint before dabbing it onto your PDF.
Finger Painted Bees
Of course the one thing your beehive template is missing is some bees!
Why not use finger painting to make the shape of the bee’s bodies with yellow paint and then once the paint is dry draw on their stripes and wings using a black marker pen.
