This four seasons 3D tree craft is so easy to make and the end result looks fantastic with your tree being able to stand up on it’s own and you being able to see the changes for each season on each side.
From the new leaves in spring to them falling and being replaced by snowflakes in winter it’s a great activity to make with kids and as well as it only requiring very basic craft materials it’s free to download too so it’s a fun and cheap craft to try.

What You'll Find on This Page
Four Seasons Tree
Over the years we’ve shared a lot of 3D crafts and four seasons crafts so it made sense to combine them and I’m so glad we did as this 3D four seasons tree looks so good!
As the shape of the craft itself is also really simple this is a surprisingly easy craft to make, if you can use scissors you should be able to cut the parts out for this, but if not then of course this would be a great collaborative project to make with your kid with you helping them out with any tricky bits.
Four seasons crafts are great for making throughout the year, both of a reminder of what season we’re in and what we’ve got to look forward to.
Personally I’ve been asked a few times recently by my kids what the season currently is but then I guess that’s fair enough as we had a very wet summer, we’d have much preferred the sunshine shown in this craft!
Each scene shows a little picture of each season that you can color in, so you’ll find blossom on your tree in spring, sunshine and a tree full of leaves in summer, falling leaves in fall and snow topped branches and a snowman in winter.

Craft Supplies Needed
- 3D tree craft PDF

- Colored pencils or colored markers
- Scissors
- Glue
3D Tree Craft
Start by printing the PDF file, in the file you’ll see that there are three pages with the first one being instructions and images of the finished craft so you don’t need to print this page out if you don’t want to, obviously you’ll need the second two pages though!
For most of the crafts on this site I say that you’re fine to use white printer paper if you’d prefer but for this craft I really would recommend using card stock if at all possible.
Because your finished tree will be standing up you want to make it as sturdy as possible and I don’t want anyone being disappointed by their tree being a bit floppy, if you can use cardstock then please do!
Next color in your trees using coloring pencils or markers. Again, if you are using markers then cardstock is the better choice so that you can’t see the bright colors through the pages when they’re stuck together later.

Cut out your four trees following the dotted lines on the printable and making sure that you keep them together in their pairs.

Stick your pairs of trees together back to back and then cut into the trees following the dotted lines down the middle.
One set of trees will need to be cut from the top while the other needs to be cut from the bottom, don’t worry though as you’ll be able to see on your printable which is which.

Slot the two parts of the tree together and move the cardstock so that it forms an X shape and it can stand up. As you look at each part of the tree now you will be able to see a different season.
