One of my resolutions for this year was to start and do a bit more crafting for myself again. Obviously I share loads of craft ideas on here but ironically this has lead to me doing far less crafting for myself these days which is a bit of a shame. When Sarah from Evermore contacted me to ask if I’d like to try out their DIY scented candle making kits I jumped at the chance as I knew that this would force me to put a bit of ‘me-time’ aside and of course it helped that the candles themselves looked fabulous.
Evermore’s DIY scented candle kits arrive in a beautifully packaged box and contain pretty much everything you need to make the candles – you’l need some water, a saucepan and a aluminium jug to melt the wax in too. There’s a choice of fragrances for the candles including sandalwood and lemongrass but I tried out the lavender and coconut scents.
I’ve made DIY candles before but what I liked about these was that the kit contained everything I needed including a thermometer which mean that I knew exactly when to pour the fragrance in. This meant that making scented candles was suddenly really easy and totally stress free.
Of course the candles smell gorgeous too and the pretty packaging means that they fit right in in our new new home, a gorgeous treat to help you unwind once the kids are finally tucked up and asleep in bed.
Disclosure – I was sent a Evermore candle making kit to try, all opinions remain my own.

What a lovely thing to make. I have loads of candles around the living room and it would be nice to make some myself.

This kit would make a wonderful gift, I love that everything is included and I’m really tempted. It would be great for someone who has never tried to make candles before, like me.

I adore the smell of lavender and it really helps me sleep. My favorite thing to do to relax is lighting a candle.
The set looks so good!

I love making candles. They make great gifts and are perfect for all those tea cups I see in charity shops and can not leave behind!
