Cut and Paste Nativity Craft
I love Christmas and I think it’s important that kids of all ages can get involved in the preparations.
It helps them to get excited about the big day and it’s also good for them to know the story of why we celebrate Christmas.
This printable is perfect for using at home, in classrooms and preschools or in Sunday schools and kids can add the characters to the barn as you learn about the bible story.
In the PDF pack you’ll find two pages. One with a picture of the barn on it and another with Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, the three wise men, a shepherd and his sheep as well as an angel, a donkey, a manger and a star.

Nativity Craft Supplies
- Nativity scene PDF printed onto white paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Coloring materials – crayons, colored markers or coloring pencils
Cut Out Nativity Scene
Obviously this nativity craft is super easy to make but here’s how we made ours!
First print out both pages of the craft onto white printer paper and then color them in using crayons, coloring pencils or markers.
If you’d like your nativity craft to be a little more sturdy then you can print it onto white cardstock instead.
Of course you don’t have to color the printable in, if you’re stretched for time then black and white is fine but I love the way that this looks once it’s colored and coloring can be a great quiet time or chilled out activity for kids too.
Once you’ve finished coloring use scissors to cut out all the different pieces on the second sheet.
You can now glue them into place in and around your stable. Don’t forget to stick the star above the barn.
