So I *might* be a bit obsessed with the mini pumpkins I bought last week. Ok, I totally am. But after the diamante decorations I did myself I thought it would be fun to let my toddler in on the action. He loved it before when we used lots of different materials to paint with (the glee of something other than a paintbrush!) so I thought he would enjoy painting on a different kind of surface. I think that pumpkin painting for toddlers can be a bit tricky as pumpkins are so bright so we used white pumpkins to make it easier to see what my toddler had painted!

Pine Cone Activities for Preschoolers
I’m very lucky to be blessed with a lovely, kind three year old boy who wants to give me birthday presents every time we go out. I’m slightly less lucky that those gifts are always pine cones! I always seem to have a handbag full of the things so with that in mind I thought it might be a good idea to round up some of the best pine cone activities for preschoolers to help out any fellow parent with bags full of the things who can’t bear to just chuck them out!
Peppermint Scented Cloud Dough
As you can imagine, I read the blogs of my fellow Tuesday Tutorials hosts pretty often and when I saw Anna’s Cinnamon and Ginger scented cloud dough last week I knew that it was something I wanted to try with my son.
Being me though I knew that I wanted to try something a little bit different so this weekend we made this gorgeous peppermint scented cloud dough!
Day of the Dead Felt Craft for Kids
Seeing as I had a load of felt left over from my Minion finger puppet last week, I thought it might be a fun idea to do some kind of Day of the Dead felt crafts with my son. After all, he goes to a Church playgroup and I’m guessing they don’t teach about the Day of the Dead there?? Nevermind though, Mummy to the rescue!!
Awesome Lego Activities and Movie Review
Recently my son has stopped having a nap in the afternoon. I know. It was a sad day I can tell you. And while I was kinda hoping he’d start again when he returned to playgroup after the holidays it would appears that’s not to be the case. Today’s new parenting issue is therefore that he is beyond tired by 2pm so when we were offered the chance to review The Lego Movie I thought it would be a good way to help us chill out in the afternoon and as the activities for children’s books that I shared recently were so popular I thought why not share some lego activities to do after you’ve watched the film?
