How To Use Your Cactus Template
Colouring: This template is perfect to use as a cactus colouring page too so grab your colouring pens or pencils for this.
Sponge painting: sponge painting can make a great alternative to normal painting, just cut up a sponge to the size that you want and dip it into some green paint before dabbing it onto your cactus. You could try using different shades of green paint of this or using a smaller piece of sponge to dab in some pink paint to make flowers for your plant.
Toothbrush painting: Similarly to using a sponge, use a toothbrush to dip into green paint and then dab onto your template. This method can be really good for making a texture on your picture. Obviously don’t use your normal toothbrush for this, you’ll need one that stays with your craft materials and not in the bathroom!
Mosaic: this is a great way to practice scissor skills with your child and a great excuse to use up any old scrap paper or to get a use out of junk mail. Check out our mosaic cactus craft to see how we’ve made this craft using our PDF.

Hi:
I’m looking forward to using these stencils on tote bags. Can I use fabric paint instead of sponges?
Thank you.
