Build A Lamb Craft
Our family lives near a few farms and taking a walk out to see the newborn lambs each year is always a bit of a tradition and a treat.
For me it’s always a great reminder that Spring is finally here but also who can resist cute baby lambs? They’re way too cute!
I love sharing lamb and sheep crafts because they’re really easy to make and they’re also so symbolic for this time of the year – you’ll find some more of my favorites later on in this post so if you have kids of different ages as well it’s worth a look to find something fun that will suit them too.

Craft Supplies
- Build a lamb PDF printed onto white paper or cardstock
- Colored markers, coloring pencils or crayons,
- Scissors
- Glue – School glue (PVA) or a glue stick
Cut Out Lamb Craft
Start by printing out the PDF template onto white paper or cardstock. I’ve used normal white printer paper for this craft but if you want something that’s a little more sturdy then opt for cardstock instead.
Color in the separate parts of the crafts using crayons, coloring pencils or colored markers. You do not need to color in the gray sections.
I’ve left the lamb’s wool white but of course you can color it in if you would like to.
Following the dotted lines cut out the parts of the lamb.
Glue the lamb’s ears onto the back of it’s head and then stick the fluffy top part of their head on.
Stick the head onto the main part of the lamb’s body following the guidelines for where to stick.
Glue the two legs onto the back of your lamb’s body and your craft is complete.

This easy sheep craft is perfect for younger kids, you’ll need a grown up to cut out the black paper for the sheep’s face but preschoolers and toddlers can print the sheep’s body and might be able to help cutting out the sheep’s legs too.

Materials
- Build a lamb PDF
- White paper or cardstock
Instructions
- Print the PDF onto white paper or cardstock
- Color in the face, ears and legs of the lamb and cut all the pieces out following the guidelines.
- Glue the lamb's ears onto the back of their head and the smaller piece of wool on top of their head.
- Stick the lamb's head onto their body and glue the two legs to the back of the body.
