Cut and Paste Gingerbread Man Craft
Start by printing your gingerbread man template onto white printer paper or cardstock.
I’ve used plain paper for my craft but if you’d like yours to be a little more sturdy – if you want to keep this as a keepsake or use it as a Christmas ornament then I’d recommend printing onto cardstock instead although this can make it slightly harder to cut.
Color in your gingerbread man using crayons, coloring pencils or colored markers.
As well as the gingerbread man’s body there’s also buttons, a bow tie and cuffs to color in and if you want to make this as a Christmas craft you’ll also find a candy cane and a Santa hat.
Using a black marker pen draw on the details of your gingerbread man’s face.
Cut all of the pieces out and then glue the gingerbread man’s accessories onto their body. You can use either of the Santa hat and candy cane, both or neither depending on how you want your gingerbread man to look.
If you’d like to try out our gingerbread man recipe then make sure you cut that out too so that you don’t lose it.
Want to make a gingerbread woman instead? My daughter is exactly the same (and more representation is always a good thing!) To get your gingerbread person to look more like a gingerbread girl glue the bow on top of her head instead.
If you would like to use this as an ornament just tape a loop of ribbon or yarn onto the back of your gingerbread man so that you can hang them on your Christmas tree.
You could also use these to make a gingerbread man puppet craft by sticking your finished craft onto the front of a brown paper bag for your child to play with.
