Butterflies, bees, caterpillars and ladybirds – today I’m sharing some of my favourite bug crafts for toddlers with lots of simple and achievable ideas that toddlers can enjoy.

This round up has got lots of ideas for bug crafts for toddlers to make with ideas that are suitable for one, two and three year olds. Of course, if you have (or work with) kids this age then you’ll know that there’s a huge difference between what a one year old can do and what a three year old can do (as well as differences at each age) so take a look through the list list, take a look at the collages and pick the crafts that you think that your child will enjoy the most – the ones which suit their abilities and the ones which suit their interests. After all there’s no point in forcing your kid to make cute butterflies if she just wants to do a spider craft today, it’s all about having fun.
If you like the look of these bug crafts then make sure that you bookmark this page or pin an image so that you have it to hand when you need it the most. We’ve shared hundreds of crafts for toddlers so keep reading for more of our favourite ideas at the end of this post plus some of our favourite bug books for toddlers.
