About baby led weaning
If you are doing BLW with your child then you’ll already know how great it is to be able to share the same meal with your kid. Two things to look out for, as I’m sure you are aware, are salt and choking hazards, and of course unless you have been advised by your health professional you shouldn’t start weaning your child until they are 6 months old. There’s a great article on NHS choices about food to avoid giving your baby and this article from the Ministry of Health in New Zealand talks about the foods that cause a higher choking risk and how to try and mitigate that.

Baby Led Weaning Stir Fry Ideas
When I was weaning my children I loved making stir frys as they were so easy, below are some ideas for things that you could include
Vegetables: Well cooked cauliflower or broccoli ‘trees’, carrots, onions, mushrooms, peppers, courgettes, mange tout, baby corn
Meats: chicken, beef, pork
Spices and herbs: garlic and ginger – you can add soy sauce to your serving but don’t add it to your child’s due to the high salt content
