Welcome back to this weeks Tuesday Tutorials. This week we wave goodbye to Anna who is retiring from Tuesday Tutorials and welcome along The Boy and Me, do go and check out her blog if you haven’t before! Last week we had some really cool Dr Seuss activities linked up so I thought this week it would be fun to take those and add a couple more cool ideas I found on the internet to make this into Six Superb Dr Seuss Activities – mainly because I love a bit of alliteration!
Easter Egg Wreath Craft
This week we’ve got started on making some simple decorations for Easter with this fun Easter egg wreath craft. My son and I sat down and made it together but as it requires a few Easter eggs to be decorated this could be a nice Easter activity for playdates, playgroups or Sunday Schools too. I drew mine freehand but I’ve included a free downloadable template for anyone who prefers!

Spring Blossom Family Fingerprint Tree
My son is currently obsessed with decorating our home for ‘special days’. Last week we were all decorated for Valentines Day and he wanted to know what was next. Easter seemed a little far off but Spring? Well, hopefully that’s just around the corner. I loved the family fingerprint tree that Life As We Know it shared a while back on Tuesday Tutorials and thought it would be fun to give it a spring twist and liven it up with a bit of blossom!
Resist Art Projects
This week I’m sharing some cool resist art projects for kids. Resist art is a fun way for kids to try a new technique and there are loads of cool ways to do it including wax resist, tape resist and glue resist art! Why not take a look through them all and find some new art ideas to try out with your kids.
Paper Plate Thor Helmet DIY
So, a couple of weeks back I posted a tutorial on how to make a Captain America shield from paper plates that was super popular with my son and it got me thinking. We love superhero crafts (heck, we love everything superhero!) so what else could we make ourselves? The answer of course was this simple Thor helmet DIY that we made with paper plates and some cardboard from the recycling bin. Needless to say it’s been a hit too!
