Apple Craft Printable
I honestly really enjoy sharing apple crafts, I get really excited about starting fall crafts every year as I feel like there’s so many fun activities to share and there’s so many different ideas that we always have something for kids of all ages.
Plus, when I’ve made apple crafts with my kids over the years we always use it as an excuse to cut up some apples and have those as a snack as well. They’d tell you that as a mom I’m always especially keen on anything I can use as an excuse to add a snack!
Our cut and paste crafts are always really popular and this build an apple craft is designed to be two sided so that you can look at both the outside and inside of an apple.
If you like this it would be a great one to make along with our build a pumpkin craft which also shows the insides and outsides, making them both ideal for fall and harvest.
Of course if you’d rather use this apple craft as part of a display, whether that’s on bulletin boards or in your kids workbooks then that’s absolutely fine, just build each side of the apple separately rather than gluing them together.

Build An Apple Craft
Print the PDF file onto white cardstock or paper. Card stock is a great option if this is a craft that your child will be playing with a lot but generally normal white printer paper is fine, especially if you’ll be sticking the two sides together.
Next color in all the different parts of the craft. Don’t forget that you can leave the inside part of the apple white.

It’s up to you if you’d like to make a red or green apple or of course you could use both colors. Why not look at a real apple to see what colors it is, you could cut it up too so you can see the insides just like with our craft or you could have it as a snack!
Following the dotted lines on the printable, cut out each of the individual pieces.

Glue the two leaves back to back and then glue the two parts of the apple’s stem back to back with the leaves inside them.
Stick the two parts of the apple together back to back with the apple stem sandwiched in-between it and sticking out.

Glue the apple core into the centre of the inside of the apple and then stick the apple pips onto this.

On this site I’ve shared loads of printable templates as they’re great for making easy crafts with your kids or for using as simple coloring pages.
Here I’ve used our free apple template for a super simple painting activity that’s perfect for younger kids such as preschoolers and kindergarteners and it’s great as a hands on craft using real apples.

Next up are our apple suncatchers. I made this fun craft with my daughter when she was a preschooler and it’s fantastic for making some easy fall decor as well as being great for fine motor skills.

Finally this is our pom pom apple tree craft. It’s a great choice for toddlers and younger kids, I made it with my daughter when she was just under two, although obviously you’ll need to supervise due to the small parts.
I made the tree using brown felt and some colored cardstock but you could use our tree template to help make it easier to prepare.
