Apple Craft Ideas
Coloring: This is always something that I suggest for our printables because the simple designs make them perfect to use as a coloring page. Just grab markers, coloring pencils and crayons and use these to decorate it.
Apple Suncatchers: We made apple suncatchers previously by drawing the apples freehand but using the apple outline from this template would make that a lot easier. Our suncatchers make a great decoration for windows with their vibrant colors. These were made by my daughter who was a preschooler at the time they were a fun craft to help her practice her scissor skills too.
Apple Stamping: Make a simple apple painting craft using this printable and making some stamps.
Scrunched Tissue Paper: Cover your apple template with glue (PVA or Elmers glue style works best) then tear red and green tissue paper into pieces and scrunch them up into balls before gluing them onto your apple as we’ve done with our apple craft for toddlers.
Writing Activity: School age children could use this as a writing activity. Try writing some words to describe the apple on it or maybe eat some apple slices and write down what they taste like.
Playdough Mat: Laminate your printable or pop it inside a plastic wallet and color it in with red and green playdough.
Torn Paper: Cover your craft template in glue and then stick torn colored paper on it. Both colored printer paper or construction paper are great for this and you use one color or a mix of red and green.

These paper plate apples are super easy to make and I love the way that the different colors can blend together, just like on the real things.
This pom pom apple tree was decorated by my preschooler which might explain the amount of windfall apples! Its a great way to use up any pom poms and a fun way to support fine motor skills too.
