Ambulance Craft
When my kids were younger they were defiantly really interested in all kinds of vehicles from the emergency rescue services and while they’re a little older not I still see their heads pop up if an ambulance, fire engine or police car rush past our house or when we’re going down the street.
This cut out ambulance craft is a great way to help kids to practice their coloring and scissor skills and a great way to open conversations too as you talk about how different people help out in our community.
Inside the PDF file you’ll find two different designs, the first is a USA style ambulance with a larger star of life on it while the second design is a UK style ambulance with the rectangular design on the vehicle, just choose whichever one you would prefer to print.
You can print as many copies of each design as you wish to this craft is great for making at home or in classrooms.

Craft Materials Needed
- Ambulance craft PDF
- White paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Coloring pencils, colored markers or crayons
Cut and Paste Ambulance Craft
Start by printing out the PDF file of the ambulance design that you want to make, normal white printer paper is fine for this but if you can use cardstock then that’s better for making it that bit more sturdy.
Using your coloring pencils or markers color in your ambulance, you might want to check online or in a picture book for the correct colors of ambulances where you live but generally ambulances in the USA are white with orange or red and blue while ambulances in the the UK are yellow and green.
If you want to design your own ambulance colors then obviously that’s fine too!
Once your ambulance is colored in use your scissors to cut out each part of the craft, you’ll find a dotted line around each item to help guide you.
Add a little bit of glue onto each of the pieces and them glue them together to make your ambulance, you’ll find a picture of the finished craft in the top right hand of the printable to help guide you.
Don’t forget to add the star of life and the siren!
