I’m a great believer that if you want to encourage some creativity in your kids then the best option is to pick a subject that they’ll be interested in so I think this police car template is going to be a big hit with kindergarteners, preschoolers and toddlers as well as kids in the early years of school.
Our printable file comes with three different designs for you to choose from. The first is a basic police car outline that’s perfect for decorating. The second picture is designed to look like the kind of police car you get in the USA while the third design is a UK police car.
Police Car Craft Ideas
Coloring
I love coloring as an activity that’s really easy to prepare, especially as most of us already have some crayons, coloring pencils or colored markers at home.
All you need to do is print out the police car template that you want and you’re ready to get started.
Colored Strips of Paper
Using scissors cut red or blue colored paper into strips and then glue them around the light on the top of your police car to show the light shining out for the light on top of the car.
Sponge Painting
Use a sponge dipped in paint to color in your police car as an alternative to using a paintbrush. If you don’t have any spare sponges then Q-Tips (or cotton buds) are a great option too, just pour a little bit of paint into a dish to dip your painting materials in to.
