17 Enchanting Mini Planters

9th June 2015 by Kate Williams | 4 Comments

This week has seemed a bit manic with one thing and the other, the youngest is still not napping *weeps* the eldest seems to have a million appointments about starting school and the housework fairy has failed to turn up. Again. Some relief this week has come though in the form of hunting out these gorgeous mini planters for you. I think there’s nothing like a bit of nature in your home and garden to perk-up your mood and these beauties certainly all do the job.

All of these tutorials can be found over on my Mini Planters board on Hometalk. I adore the mini planter that’s set in a book (well, I am an ex-bookseller!) and I know that the mini planters set in old toys and a gumball machine would put a massive smile on my son’s face. Actually they’d put a big one on mine too, maybe I should go make them now?!

Hometalk has been a new find for me this week although it would appear I’m the only person who didn’t know about it already! I spent a lot of time getting my Alice in Wonderland vibe on and falling into a big DIY hole over there this weekend looking at all the tutorials and I’ve found it really inspiring to go and make something myself again. If you go and take a peek at my board you’ll also see my teacup planter tutorial on there which is one of my favourite recent makes and a great way to brighten up a kitchen!

You’re not alone, I had never heard of Hometalk (although I’ve joined up now!).

Ooh, I like the bear! My children would be very excited about that. Good luck with getting the naps back – it’s tough!
