Free Printable Easter Wreath Craft for Kids
Easter is a big celebration in our home and my kids have always loved decorating eggs, Easter egg hunts and generally going a little bit over the top with candy and treats over the Easter weekend, I figure it’s only once a year!
As part of the celebrations over the years they’ve made loads of Easter crafts because as a mom I know what it’s like to have that last minute panic when my kids want to make all the things I’ve shared lots of free Easter printables so that you can grab some fun, low-prep Easter activities to do with your child whenever you need to.
Our Easter wreath craft is quick to get ready, only uses basic materials and is a great way to make a cute seasonal decoration. You can also print as many copies of our Easter wreath PDF as you like so it’s perfect for using in classrooms, libraries or in Sunday schools as part of your Easter celebrations.
If you prefer a more hands-on activity and don’t mind getting the paints out then you might like our paper plate Easter wreath craft which uses simple materials instead of a printable template and is perfect for younger kids such as toddlers and preschoolers.

What’s Included in the Easter Wreath Printable
Inside our printable Easter wreath PDF you’ll find a two page black and white design ready for you to print and color.
The first page is your blank Easter wreath template outline while the second page is filled with your Easter decorations including flowers, an Easter chick, Easter eggs and a banner with ‘Happy Easter’ written on it.
Supplies Needed for This Easter Wreath Craft
- Easter wreath PDF
- Printer paper or cardstock and a printer
- Scissors
- Glue
- Colored pencils, markers or crayons
- Optional – string or yarn
How to Make an Easter Wreath Craft
Start by printing your PDF template onto white paper or cardstock.
Normal printer paper is fine for this craft and is what I’ve used for mine but if you are planning on hanging your Easter wreath up to display it then you might want to choose cardstock instead to make it a bit more sturdy.

If you are making this craft in a hurry or want to cut down on the coloring time then you can either leave the wreath template white or print the wreath template page onto colored paper or cardstock instead so that it’s already colored.
Color in the wreath (if you are choosing to do so) and all of the Easter decorations.

Using scissors, cut out the wreath shape and all of the Easter decorations, you’ll find a dotted line around each shape to help guide you.

Glue your flowers, Easter eggs, Easter ribbon and Easter chick onto the wreath to decorate it.

Finally if you wish to hang your Easter wreath up you can tape a loop of string or ribbon to the back of the finished wreath or make a loop of yarn through the middle of the wreath.
