Goat Craft Ideas
Coloring
Coloring is often a popular choice both for parents and teachers as it’s so quick to prepare and for kids themselves.
All you need to do is print out the design you want onto normal white printer paper, grab your coloring pencils, crayons or colored markers and you’re ready to get started.
Torn Paper
Use construction paper or scrap paper torn into pieces and then glued onto your goat shape for a fun alternative to a more traditional mosaic.
Cotton Balls
Did you know that both male and female goats can have beards? To make one for your goat grab a little bit of a cotton ball and then glue it onto your goats chin. You could add a little more fluff to your goat’s head between their horns too.
Puppets
Making a goat puppet would be a great way for kids to act along with the Three Billy Goats Gruff story and there is two easy ways that you can make these.
The first option is to print your template onto cardstock, cut out the goat outline using scissors and then glue or tape a craft stick onto the back of it for your child to hold.
You’ll also need to print and cut out your goat shape for the second option but instead of using a craft stick glue your goat picture onto an upside down brown paper bag. You can put your hand into the bag similarly to a sock puppet to use it.
