Ocean Color By Number
Our color by number and color by sum resources have been really popular with parents and teachers recently and it’s easy to see why.
Some days we all need those easy print and go ideas which don’t require loads of prep. You want to do something educational but you want to spend that quality time with your kids not spend the time preparing the activity!
These free printables can help with number recognition and feature some of our favorite sea creatures – fish, crabs, star fish, an octopus and a sea turtle and there are five pages for you to download in the PDF file.
The first two printables are the color by number design, with the first in black and white and the second with the coloring key colored in.
Pages three and four are our color by sum designs with some simple addition and subtraction questions included. Again you’ll find a black and white version as well as one with the coloring pencils at the top of the worksheet colored in.
The final page is an answer sheet as you can see below so that you know what the finished coloring page should look like.

How To Do A Color By Number Activity
To use your color by number printable first print out the design of your choice onto white paper. You will also need your coloring materials.
To do the color by number printable just check the number on each section number against the color key at the top of the sheet and then and color in that part with the given color.
To do the color by sum worksheet just work out the answer to each of the sums you find and check the answer against the color key to find out which color to use.
