Easter Egg Craft Printable
As soon as the Easter eggs and candy start appearing in stores my kids start getting excited about Easter and I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking that this happens earlier and earlier every year!
We love Easter egg hunts but they only last so long so it’s nice to be able to even out all that rushing around with a project that kids can do a little more calmly.
In the PDF file for this craft you’ll find three different printables. Each one has a large Easter egg outline and then next to it you’ll find an assortment of different decorations including spots, stripes, hearts, stars, zig zags and a bow.
You can choose your favorite printable to print or go for all three and in the top right hand corner of each printable you’ll also find some inspiration for designs that you could make using the decorations on that page.

Craft Supplies Needed
- Cut and paste Easter egg craft PDF
- White paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Crayons, coloring pencils or colored markers
Cut and Paste Easter Egg
Start by printing out the PDF file. You can use one page of the printables or all three which also means that you can then mix and match the decorations if you like.

Color in your Easter egg and the decorations that you want to use. You only need to color the decorations you want so if you know what your finished design is going to look like then you can just color in those parts.

Next grab your scissors and cut out your Easter egg and the decorations. You’ll find a dotted line around each item to help you cut it.

Finally it’s time to decorate your Easter egg and before you grab your glue you might find it helpful to place your decorations onto your egg outline to see how it will look.
Once you’re happy with your design add a little bit of glue to the back of each decoration before sticking them onto your egg.
