Printable Easter Matching Game For Kids
At this time of year my kids want to do ALL the Easter activities but when they were younger I used to struggle a bit to think of ideas other than an Easter egg hunt or (their idea) eating lots of candy and chocolates!
This printable game is perfect for when you need a few minutes for everyone to just calm down and focus a little and it’s perfect for the whole family too. I used to play matching pairs with my daughter when she was a preschooler but personally I still enjoy them now as an adult so this is definitely one that you can do with older kids too if you’d like.
They’re also a great option for using in classrooms if you need a fun Easter game that you can prep quickly and that won’t cost you anything other than the cardstock you print it on.
In the PDF file you’ll find two different versions of this printable Easter game. The first two pages are in color while the second two are in black and white.
If you’d like to you or your kid can color in the black and white printables.
You will need to print out each page that you are using twice so that the picture on it will have something to match with.
If you’re playing with a group or you want to make your game last a little longer you could print out each page four times so that you have more cards to choose from.

- White cardstock
- Scissors
How To Play Our Easter Matching Game
Start by printing out the color or black and white designs onto white cardstock, don’t forget that you will need two or four copies of each design. Using your scissors then cut out around each card shape.
Place all of the cards face down onto a table so that you can’t see which card is where. You might want to give them a bit of a mix around so that no one remembers where each card was placed at first.
Take it in turns to turn over two of the cards. If you get a matching pair then you can keep those cards.
If the cards don’t match then they have to be turned back upside down and the next player takes their turn. Make sure to try and remember where the un-matching cards were in case that those pictures come up when it’s your turn!
When all of the matching pairs have been found all the players can count up the number of cards that they have won and the player with the most cards is the winner.
