Free Harvest Craft Printable For Kids
I love this time of year and sharing harvest and fall crafts for kids brings me so much joy! It’s a time of year when everything looks really pretty and there’s so many interesting things that kids can learn about.
Harvest is a great topic for kids, it fits in perfectly with fall and Thanksgiving but it’s also fantastic as part of a farm topic, learning about healthy eating or learning about different festivals – as a child the harvest festival at school or church was always a big occasion.
This cut out craft template is a fun way to practice scissor skills with your child and it’s a really easy way for them to make their own harvest scene complete with a scarecrow, apple tree, tractor and some vegetables.
Plus don’t forget to check out some of the other harvest craft ideas that I’ve shared below.
Materials You’ll Need:
- Cut and paste harvest craft PDF
- White paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Colored pencils, crayons or colored markers
How To Make Your Harvest Craft
Before you start this craft you’ll need to print both pages of the PDF file. You can either use white cardstock for this or normal white printer paper.
Card stock generally makes things a bit sturdier but generally speaking white paper is fine for this and is both cheaper and easier to cut.
To get started you need to color in all the separate items on the first page and color in the field scene on the second page. You could leave the harvest field blank if you are a bit rushed for time but I think it looks much nicer colored in if you can.

Following the dotted lines on the first page cut out each of the individual items.

Pop a little bit of glue onto the back of each of your harvest items and then glue them into place on your craft scene.
You can stick them wherever you like but if it will help you or your child to have a little bit of guidance then you can see a black and white version of the finished craft on the top of the first page of the printable.
You might also find it helpful to glue on the larger items first to ensure that you have space for everything so perhaps starting with the tractor, hay trailer and apple tree first and leaving the carrots, cabbages and pumpkin until the end.

Finally this build an apple craft printable is one of the newest resources that I’ve shared.
It’s designed to be double sided so that once you’ve made it you can look at both the inside and the outside of an apple.
