Free Printable Birthday Cards to Color
In a time when so many of us have got used to sending an ecard these birthday cards are a fun alternative that really don’t take much more extra effort and I think the result of receiving one of these adorable cards with a personal touch is so much better.
All you need is your home printer and our PDF file and you’re ready to get started.
As usual, this download is totally free for you as well so it’s a really cheap way to help make someone’s day.
There are loads of designs available all with this cute cupcake theme with is perfect for sending birthday wishes.
You’ll find cakes with sprinkles, candles, cherries and even one with the most adorable little face. All you need to do is ask your child which is the one they want to color and then print that one out.

In the PDF file you’ll find the printable cards in both US letter and UK A4 size.
The US designs are first with the designs in A4 after these in the PDF file but don’t worry, I’ll remind you of this in the email.
Free Printable Greetings Cards For Kids

There are two greeting card designs and we originally released these during lockdown when we weren’t able to see any of our family members who lived far away and these were really popular both with my kids who loved making them and with the people who received them.
Although we can obviously see people again now they’ve continued to be a favorite and I think they’re the perfect card for reminding people that you are thinking of them and they make a great little project for schools, scouts and youth groups too!
Craft Supplies
The supplies that you need to make your birthday card with are really simple so there’s a good chance that you have them at home already.
- White cardstock
- Coloring materials – marker pens, crayons or coloring pencils
- A pen to write your own personal message inside the card
If you don’t have white cardstock available then you can use plain printer paper but obviously as this is not so sturdy it will not be as good at standing up on it’s own.
You might also want to grab some envelopes to put your card in.
How To Make Your Birthday Cards
Print out the design that you would like onto white cardstock or thick paper and then color in your design using crayons, coloring pencils or colored marker pens.
Carefully fold the card in half and using your finger press down hard along the fold to make sure it stays.
You can then write a message inside the card.
