This cross template has a basic outline that’s perfect for crafts for Easter, baptisms, communion, confirmations or teaching children about Christianity and the Easter story.
Cross Craft Ideas
Coloring – I love coloring and it’s a really simple activity that you can set up for your kids, especially if you are in a rush. Just print out your cross template and grab your coloring pencils, markers and crayons.
Resist Art – Cut out your cross outline using scissors than then using washi tape lightly stick it onto another piece of paper. Take paints or pastels and color all over the paper making sure the edges of the cross are covered in the various colors and then remove the template to leave a cross shape on your page.
Suncatcher – Suncatchers make great decorations and they’re really simple to make too. If you haven’t made one before then just follow the instructions for our butterfly suncatcher craft but use the cross template to give you an outline that you can cut out.
Mosaic – I love mosaic crafts as an easy way to use up any spare colored paper that you have as well as being a good way to practice scissor skills too. Simply cut colored paper or construction paper into shapes and glue them onto your cross shape to color it in, this can be a good excuse for discussing shapes with your child too, have they cut out a square, a rectangle or a triangle?
