Free Heart Template
I’ve used these printable hearts myself for a few Valentine’s Day crafts and it can also be used with some of the DIY projects that we’ve shared previously.
This printable heart template is perfect for when you have a few kids that you’re doing an activity with, such as a classroom party, if you need something that you can get ready quickly especially if you don’t want to be rushed drawing something yourself.
This is a large heart shape which means that your child will have plenty of room for making their own crafts or decorations and creating some fun art.

Heart Craft Ideas
Coloring
My daughter found this template left out at home and did a brilliant drawing in it of all the things she loved.
This makes a perfect simple coloring page, all you need to do is grab the pencils, crayons and markers for a super simple activity.
Mosaic
Our easy mosaic heart craft is really popular every year and is one that my kids really enjoyed making too as well as it being a fun way to practice using scissors if you would like.
This template would be perfect for using with it and mosaics make great craft projects or school projects if you have some scrap paper or construction paper that you don’t mind using up.
Foil Painting
This foil painted heart activity would be great for this template as well and is another heart art project that was popular with my kids. It’s a nice alternative to using a paintbrush and we really liked the finished effect.
Heart Garland
If you are working with a group or in a classroom you could print a few of these out onto cardstock, get the children to decorate them and then attach them with some tape and bakers twine to make a cute garland or banner to hang up.
Stencil
If you’d prefer you could print this out onto card and cut out the centre of the heart so that you could use this as a heart stencil – this would work well for simple art projects like finger painting.
