How To Make Your Thanksgiving Dot Art
To make your Thanksgiving dot art start by printing the design that you want to use onto white paper. You can print one design or all of them and you can print as many copies as you like.
Use your dot marker to print a dot in one of the circles and then keep going coloring in all of the dots in that area.
Choose different color in different parts of the design until all of your picture is colored in.
If you enjoyed coloring your Thanksgiving design you can then color in the others in the collection to make your own display of Thanksgiving art.
What Can I Use Instead of Dot Markers?
If you don’t have any dot markers available to you then there’s still lots of ways that you can create some fun Thanksgiving dot art using these printables.
My favourite is probably to use them for finger painting but I appreciate that that’s pretty messy and not always everyone else’s favorite!
If you don’t mind using paint but would rather not get hands quite so messy you can dip a cotton bud or q-tip in the paint and use that to create your dots or you can use a pom pom dipped in paint, hold them with a clothes peg if you don’t want to hold them with your fingers.
For a way to use them without paint you can place counters or pom poms onto the circles, make marks with normal pens or crayons or for an activity that’s good for fine motor skills you can use dot stickers to decorate them.
