With the Easter holidays approaching we’ve been getting excited about Easter and have started doing our Easter crafts for this year. Up until now I’ve avoided making a sensory bin for my children at all. I love looking at ideas for activities for toddlers and sensory play but sometimes I can feel a bit overwhelmed by it and like I have to produce something amazing otherwise my kids won’t like it. Sometimes though the simple ideas can be the best. During a playdate the other week my four year old son and his friend were busy being four year olds and as such, my one year old daughter and her two year old friend needed occupying. I put together this simple Easter sensory bin for toddlers in about two minutes and they loved it!

This Hulk mask is super easy and fun to make and as it’s made from a paper plate that makes it super thrifty too! My four year old son made this last week while my daughter was painting her paper plate sun. Thankfully I tend to find that superhero crafts tend to take less intervention with my son as there’s nothing like wanting to get your superhero quite right to make you concentrate! This would also make a great playdate or party activity as you could cut out any of the bits needed in advance and then keep the kids nice and busy at the table!
