We have lots of free resources that you can grab but I think our camping themed ones would be perfect for matching with this printable either for some easy crafting at home or for something in the classroom to pop on your bulletin board.

S’mores Craft Ideas
Coloring
Coloring is always a great activity for kids as it’s so easy to set up and it’s so popular with them too – a definite winner!
All you need to do is print out your favorite template and grab the crayons, colored markers or coloring pencils and you’re ready to get started.
Mixed Media Collage
S’mores are great for inspiring a mixed media collage and it’s a great way to use up any bits and bobs or old craft supplies that you have around your home or classroom too.
Why not try gluing on some cotton wool for the marshmallow, brown paper for your crackers and some cardboard packaging for the chocolate?
Pom Pom Painting
Painting with pom poms is a great way to create a textured appeal, all you need to do is pour some paint onto a plate or tray and dip your pom pom in it before dabbing it onto the paper to paint it.
Don’t like the idea of getting paint on your fingers? You can grab hold of your pom pom with a clothes peg to help keep hands clean.
Marshmallow Painting
If your child is old enough to use marshmallows without eating them (obviously not one for the youngest ones!) then you could adapt the pom pom painting to use marshmallows instead!
More Camping Crafts for Kids
This foil painted campfire craft is really popular as it’s so simple to make! Using foil is a great alternative to a paintbrush and one that you can adapt to suit the size of your child hands plus the use of red and yellow paints make it a good excuse to learn about color mixing too.
You can make these DIY camping story stones as a way to help your kids create stories or if you’d prefer you can use the ideas and use them for painted rocks to hide instead.
We’ve also got some free printable camping activity sheets you can download too with six pages to grab in our PDF.
