Hello Greeting Cards {FREE Printable Cards for Kids}

Updated on 21st July 2023 by Kate Williams | 6 Comments

There are so many times when you need to grab a greeting card to send and these free printable cards for kids to color are the perfect way to show someone you care, I think that receiving one of these would brighten up anyone’s day!

These cards were originally designed during lockdown when we were especially in need of keeping in touch with people but they’re still just as useful now – perfect for sending to family and friends or you could even use them for youth groups to send to retirement or care homes as a way of spreading some joy.

These printable cards have two different designs to download so that you can choose your favourite, or of course you can print them both!

Free Printable Cards for Kids

While we were stuck at home coloring these cards was the perfect way to keep my kids busy for a bit. My children could choose their favorite design to color and writing a message in them was a fun way to practice some literacy too.

They were fun to send and I know that people loved receiving them too, they’re also good for kids of all ages as toddlers and preschoolers can color them (or scribble, whatever works) while older kids will be able to color their notecards in with a bit more accuracy.

Obviously we can now get out and about but these cards are still a great way to keep in touch with people, whether that’s family, friends, pen-pals or anyone in your community that you think might appreciate receiving one of these, I think they’d make a nice project for a girl guides or scout group or as part of a class project at school.

These gorgeous free printable cards are also great because they don’t need any expensive materials. You’ll find both printables in the PDF file and you can print them out on your home printer to either paper or card-stock and then you can just grab whatever coloring materials you have already.

These cards are available in both US letter and UK A4 printing size so that you can choose the one which is best for where you live. The US size is first on the download but don’t worry I’ll remind you of that when it’s sent!

    I love these. Would you send me the file without the work so I can make them in Spanish? I have searched high and low and cannot find any “Hola” printables and this would be awesome to use for that.
    thanks!

    These “Hello” cards are wonderful. I have no grandkiddos but dear friends have a 6 year old daughter whom they are trying to teach about writing letters, and they asked me if I would send her a note. I am delighted to do so, and these cards are just what I need. Thank you for creating these Colour and Send cards.
