This easy pot of gold craft is so much fun to make and it’s a great way to help your kids practice their scissor skills too.
As well as the tutorial below you’ll find the basic instructions on the PDF file as well as a little image of the finished craft in case you need any help.
St Patricks Day crafts are a great way to start a conversation with your kids too, if you found a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow then what would you spend your treasure on?
Craft Supplies Needed
- Pot of gold craft PDF
- White paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Coloring pencils or colored markers
Cut and Paste Pot of Gold Craft
Start by printing out the PDF file, you can use either normal white paper or cardstock for this craft but using cardstock if you have it will mean that the rainbow and cloud in particular are a little more sturdy.
Color in all the separate items on the printable, I’ve left my cloud white but you can color yours in if you like.
Using scissors cut out the separate parts using the dotted lines for guidance.
Stick the pot of gold onto the rainbow shape where it is indicated on the printable and then glue the handle and shamrock onto it.
Glue your cloud onto the other end of your rainbow and then add the sparkles as well as filling your pot with its gold coins.
