Here we are back with another easy paper plate turkey for you- this cute Thanksgiving craft painted with bubble wrap! We’ve shared a few bubble wrap activities before because they’re such a fun way to reuse any packaging you receive and I can’t resist paper plate crafts either as they’re a really cheap way to craft with kids. I love the colours in this craft and the effect it gives – perfect for creating some easy Thanksgiving crafts.

This paper plate turkey is super easy to make, start by painting your bubble wrap, younger kids will find this easier if you use a bigger paintbrush. I’ve used some fall colours for this and it’s a great excuse to talk with your child about color mixing, what happens if the red and yellow paints mix together?
Once you’ve painted your bubble wrap turn it over and press it down paint side onto your paper plate. While you wait for the paint to dry why not share one of the Thanksgiving stories below?
When your paint is dry cut out the turkeys body from brown paper and stick it onto your paper plate using a glue stick. Add some googly eyes, a beak made from orange cardstock and a snood from red cardstock and your craft is done!
