What’s in the Fourth of July Wreath PDF
Inside the PDF you’ll find two pages in a black and white design that’s easy to print and ready to be colored in.
The first page is our blank wreath template and you’ll also find in the corner of the page an image of the finished craft so you can see what it will look like.
The second page is filled with decorations for your wreath including a bow, stars, American flags, a hot dog, popsicle, cupcake, melon, firework, Uncle Sam hat and banner saying ‘Happy 4th July’.
Kids can choose which decorations they’d like to use and how to decorate the wreath themselves to create their own unique patriotic craft.
Crafts Supplies Needed
- Fourth of July wreath PDF
- Printer paper or cardstock and a printer
- Scissors
- Glue
- Colored pencils, markers or crayons
- Optional – string or yarn
How To Make Your 4th of July Craft
Start by printing both pages of the PDF file onto paper or cardstock. I’ve used normal white printer paper for mine but if you’d like to make yours a little more sturdy then opt for cardstock instead.

Color in the wreath outline and the decorations on the second page. I’ve colored in both the banner and the bow but you only need to color in the one that you’ll be using.
In a rush? If you want to make this craft quicker you can leave the wreath white or print the first page of the PDF directly onto colored paper or card so that it’s already colored in.

Use your scissors to cut out the wreath template and all of the patriotic decorations, you’ll find a dotted line around each of them to help guide you.

Start gluing your decorations onto your wreath making sure that you leave room for your bow or banner.

Finish gluing your bow or banner onto your Fourth of July wreath as well as all of your decorations.
If you’d like to hang your finished wreath up you can tape a loop of string, ribbon or yarn to the back of your wreath or make a loop through the middle of your finished wreath.
