This patriotic printable is free for you to download and has two versions for you to choose from. It’s super quick to prep so all you need to do is grab your coloring pencils or colored markers and you’re ready to get started.

The fourth of July is a really fun and exciting time of the year for kids but at the same time sometimes it’s nice to have an activity that they can sit down and do.
This I spy activity features some of our favorite things about the celebrations that kids can color and count such as fireworks, barbecues, cupcakes and balloons and as you can print as many copies as you like they’re perfect for using in classrooms, at home, or at a fourth of July party.
Inside the PDF file you’ll find two different worksheets to choose from. The first page is in black and white and is a great option if you want to save on printer ink while the second page has a blue outline and the pictures at the bottom of the page are colored in for you. Just pick your favorite one to print.

What Is An I Spy Activity?
I spy activities are really fun and easy to do. We love them because they’re cheap, quick to prepare and mess free.
To do this activity all you need to do is print out the design that you want onto normal white printer paper and grab your coloring materials.
Pick one of the patriotic items to start with, color them in and count how many of them you find as you go and then write that number in the corresponding box at the bottom of the page.
Now pick another item to color and count until you’ve found all of the items in the i spy and filled out all of the boxes.
