I absolutely adore fall, as much as the long days of summer are nice having the excuse to wrap up before taking a walk to see the changing colors wins for me every time.

This fall cut and paste scene is a great way to help get your kids excited about the changing season as they create their own picture with kids playing outdoors.

It’s great as a quiet time activity and as you can print as many copies as you like it’s perfect for classroom use too.

What’s Included In Your Fall Scene Printable

This printable PDF is a two page black and white design that’s ready for kids to color in.

On the first page you’ll find all of the fall themed items ready for you to color and cut out. There are children, a fall tree, a tree stump, piles of leaves, migrating birds, apples, falling leaves, a squirrel and a basket full of apples.

The second page is the background to our fall scene and shows fields, hills and a fence.

Supplies You’ll Need

• Fall scene PDF
• White printer paper
• Colored pencils, markers or crayons
• Scissors
• Glue

How To Make Your Fall Cut and Paste Scene

Start by printing both pages of the PDF file onto white paper.

Using your coloring materials color in the background scene and all of your fall items.

Use scissors to cut out each of the fall items, you’ll find a dotted line around each one to help guide you.

Start sticking your items onto your fall scene, you might find that it helps to glue on the larger pieces first such as the tree and the children playing to make sure that you don’t run out of room.

You can use our picture of a finished scene on the first page of the printable for guidance or decide where you would like to put each item to create your own unique picture.

Finish gluing on the remainder of the items to make your finished fall scene.
