Cut and Paste Unicorn Craft
As a child I adored unicorns and if I’m honest I probably still do now, I was very happy to take some time out to color and make this unicorn craft!
There’s something magical about unicorns that really captures kids’ imaginations so I think they’re a great way to encourage their creativity and this printable unicorn activity is a great way to support fine motor skills and scissor skills too.
This printable unicorn activity would make a great rainy day craft for at home or if you’d like to use this as a classroom activity it would be perfect for a fairytale topic, mythical creatures theme or as a quiet time activity.

What’s Included In Your Unicorn Printable
Our unicorn cut and paste craft is a one page design that includes a unicorn’s head, ear, nose, eye, mane and unicorn horn as well as heart and star decorations that you can add.
You’ll find a small reference picture of what your finished unicorn craft should look like in the corner of the page and the printable also includes some facts about unicorns too.
Build a Unicorn Craft
Start by printing your unicorn craft onto white paper or cardstock.
Paper is the cheapest option and is easier for kids to cut too but if you want to make your unicorn a little more sturdy then use cardstock instead.
Next color in all the parts that will make up your unicorn. You can opt for more traditional horse colors like browns and blacks or go for something with more of a fairytale theme like pink and purple or even use glittery or metallic pens.
Use scissors to cut out all of the parts for your unicorn. You’ll find a dotted line around each item to help guide you.
Glue your unicorn’s horn onto their head and then glue the separate pieces of their mane onto their head around it with the smallest part at the front.
Glue on the unicorn’s eyes and nose.
Finally stick their ear into place on top of their head and then you can add the star and heart decorations if you would like.

Instructions
- Print the unicorn craft template onto white paper or cardstock.
- Color in the parts of the unicorn.
- Cut out the separate pieces.
- Glue the mane and horn onto the top of your unicorn's head.
- Finish your unicorn by gluing on the eye, ear and nose as well as any decorations you'd like to use.
