This cute sheep craft made from cupcake liners is perfect for helping kids to celebrate Chinese New Year (it’s the Year of the Sheep this year!) or is great for kids who just like animals. Me and my son made these side by side and it was a nice way to unwind after a busy morning at preschool for him. Cupcake liner crafts are great fun for kids and as they are a cheap it makes them an easy craft to do that you won’t mind if it only takes five minites!
Materials:
Cupcake liners
Coloured card (for the background)
Black card
Glue
Googly eyes
How we made our cupcake liner sheep:
Before we started I prepped our sheep craft by cutting the faces and legs out of black card. Then we flattened out our cupcake liners and then these were glued onto our coloured card. (I wanted red but, you know, my son is four and I’m happy to go with what I’m given!)
We glued on googly eyes and legs for our sheep and they were done! It was a really simple craft that was perfect for someone who didn’t quite have the attention for sitting down for a long time and took us just as long as the smallest could be kept quiet with paper and crayons. My son made two sheep, one with no legs and one with no head who was apparently the bad one?!?
This craft will take you about 5 to 15 minutes depending on your child and how many sheep they want to make!
Aww this is adorable, so simple x
Thanks Sonia 🙂
