This activity for painting on foil and glue is one that requires a tiny bit of set up but it’s well worth it. This makes a great Valentine’s Day activity, but I’ve also shared some ideas about how you could change this up for different times of the year

I’m always after saving a bit of money on the kids stuff where I can and Valentine’s Day is no exception. It’s not that I won’t spend money, it’s just that I’d rather spend it on different things! Thankfully there are loads of free printable Valentines for kids out there so today I’m sharing some of my favourites with you.

This fun little Valentines Day craft for preschoolers is a great way to use up old CDs or DVDs that you have lying around (man was I happy to see the back of some of those DVD’s!) and gives young kids the chance to try out painting on a fun new surface. This is possibly more of a process art than a craft as there’s no strict way that it should look at the end, but I think it’s good for preschoolers to do crafting without too much adult influence. My two year old certainly enjoyed making these! I’ve included below a couple of ideas for things to do with them afterwards too and how different age preschoolers might do this Valentine’s Day craft differently.
