Pumpkin Pie Craft For Kids
This year we’ve really ramped it up and have shared loads of free Thanksgiving printable for kids but I love that this pumpkin pie craft is so simple and easy to make.
It’s only one page so there’s not loads to print out and the basic design means that it’s a great option for younger kids to create too.
Amongst all the excitement of Thanksgiving I think it’s nice to be able to take some time to sit down and do a creative activity like this one together and while it’s a great craft for a cozy afternoon at home it’s also a brilliant option for making in classrooms in school or at preschool. After all you can print as many copies as you like!
Supplies You’ll Need For This Thanksgiving Craft
- Pumpkin pie craft PDF
- White paper or cardstock and printer
- Coloring pencils, crayons or markers
How To Make Your Build A Pumpkin Pie Craft
Download the PDF file and print it onto white paper or cardstock. Normal printer paper is absolutely fine but if you want to make your pumpkin pie craft that little more durable then go for cardstock instead.
Next color in all the parts of your pie. You’ll want an orange or brown for your pie filling, a nice golden brown for your pie crust and pastry decorations and you can either leave your whipped cream white or color it in a cream shade.
Of course if your kid decides that they absolutely definitely need a bright pink and purple glitter pie then that’s fine too, as a mom myself I know that it’s more fun for everyone when your kids are having fun!
Grab your scissors and cut out the different parts of your pie slice, you’ll find a dotted line around each part to help guide you.
Glue the pie filling onto the pie crust where the grey area is shown.
Add your pastry decorations and most importantly the whipped cream.
Tip – you could replace our paper whipped cream with a cotton ball for a cute fuzzy effect.

Instructions
- Print the PDF file onto white paper or cardstock.
- Color in the pastry and pie filling. You can color in the whipped cream or leave it white.
- Cut out the separate parts of the craft.
- Glue the pie filling onto the pie crust.
- Stick the whipped cream and pastry decorations on to your pie to finish it.
