Coloring
In my opinion coloring is always a great activity for kids because it’s so quick to set up and it’s normally something that they enjoy too. All you need to do is print out your templates and grab your coloring pencils, markers or crayons and you’re ready to get started.
Why not get your kids to design a pattern for their bucket?
Tissue Paper
Cut out squares of tissue paper or other colored paper such as construction paper and glue them on to your bucket and spade to decorate them.
Make A Bucket List
Use the bucket template as a writing prompt and have kids write a bucket list in it! If you’re in a classroom you could go with what they want to achieve at school such as joining a sports team or if you are trying this activity at home why not make a bucket list of activities your child would like to do during the summer vacation?
If you are doing this with younger children you could get them to cut or out pictures from magazines of things they would like to do for example a picture of a tree to signify a walk in the woods or a picture of a tent for a camping trip.
Torn Paper
Tearing paper is always really popular with my kids as it feels a bit destructive! It’s also a good way to use up any scrap paper you have lying around so that works well for me!
You could tear paper into squares or strips before sticking them onto your templates.
