Christmas Cookie Craft
One of the Christmas traditions that we have in our home during the holidays is baking Christmas cookies together. It’s something that we all genuinely really enjoy although I don’t think I could manage it every day as the mess is a bit much!
This craft is a great way to do a Christmas cookie activity together without having to get out the flour, sugar and sprinkles. It only requires the most basic craft supplies that you’ll probably already have and it’s really quick and easy to set up.
With two different options kids can choose if they want to color in our Christmas cookie designs or use our outlines to design their own tasty treats.
Like all of our cut and paste crafts this Christmas craft is a great way for kids to practice their coloring and cutting skills and with this activity they can choose how to arrange their Christmas cookies on the baking tray.
You can print as many copies of the printable as you like so it’s perfect as a Christmas craft for preschools, kindergartens and classrooms as well as being a fun activity to make at home together.

Supplies Needed
- Christmas cookie craft printable
- White paper or cardstock
- Printer
- Scissors
- Glue
- Colored markers, pencils or crayons
How To Make a Christmas Cookie Craft
Print your Christmas cookies cut and paste craft onto white paper or cardstock. Paper is easier for kids to cut and is what I’ve used in the pictures below but cardstock is a bit more durable which can be helpful with younger kids.
Choose between printing the first or second page of the design depending on whether you will be coloring in our Christmas cookie designs or designing your own and make sure that you also print the third page with the baking tray design.

Color in your cookies, you don’t need to color in the baking tray unless you’d like to as I have here.
If you’re designing your own Christmas cookies you could also add decorations like glitter markers and gem stickers and you can make your designs as intricate or plain as you like, if you’re making this craft with toddlers or preschoolers then you might want to just leave your cookies plain.

Use scissors to cut out your Christmas cookies and rolling pin. You’ll find dotted lines around each item to help guide you.

Arrange your rolling pin and Christmas cookies onto the baking sheet printable and glue them in place.
