Our fruit dot marker printables have been really popular so I thought that these vegetable printables would make a great complement to them!
They’re low-prep and low-mess which as a mom myself I always think is a very important factor when you’re planning activities for preschoolers or young kids.
The vegetable theme is great for learning about healthy eating or a garden theme but it’s also a fun excuse to make some colorful art and I love the bright colors that dot markers create, don’t worry if you don’t own any though, I’ve shared some alternatives below.

How To Use These Do a Dot Printables
Start by printing your vegetable printables onto white printer paper. You can choose to print one design or print all of them.

Choose a color to start with and begin coloring your design in by stamping a dot in the centre of the circles. We’ve started by coloring the leaves green on our carrot printable.

Continue until the rest of your design is colored in. If your child enjoys coloring this in then why not try out more of our vegetable do a dot printables to create the whole collection.

What Can I Use Instead of Dot Markers?
Since I bought some dot markers I’ve become a big fan of their bright colors and chunky handles that are great for little hands, they’re definitely not the only way that you can color in our designs though.
Finger painting is an easy option or for an alternative way to paint you could dip pom poms into paint before dabbing them onto the circles.
If you’d rather have a mess-free option then dot stickers are a great way to support your child’s fine motor skills as well as being really low-prep too.
