Dot marker printables are a good way to support your child’s fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as well as color recognition and these fruit worksheets are also a fun way to talk about healthy foods with young children.
You can print as many copies of these designs as you like so they’re ideal if you’re planning a preschool fruit theme, looking for healthy eating activities or just if you want something low-cost and simple to do at home. How To Use These Do a Dot Printables
Print the design or designs that you would like to use onto white printer paper.
Use your dot markers to make a colored dot in the middle of each circle on your fruit worksheet.
Use different colored dot markers to color in all of the design.
If you enjoyed coloring in your picture then once you’ve finished why not use your dot markers to color in more of the printables.
What Can I Use Instead of Dot Markers?
Personally I’m relatively new to dot markers and they’re only something that we’ve started using this year but I love their bright colors and the big chunky pens which are great for little hands.
If you don’t have any dot markers then a easy mess free way to use them would be to use dot stickers instead and this would be a great way to support fine motor skills too.
Don’t mind a bit of paint? Why not try finger painting to color in the circles or you could dip a Q-tip or pom pom in paint and stamp those in the circles to decorate your picture.
