How To Use These Do a Dot Printables
Start by printing your summer dot art designs onto white paper. You can choose which ones you want to use or print all the designs and you can print as many copies as you like, making it perfect if you are doing this activity with a group.
To make your dot art grab a dot marker and start coloring in one of the sections. I’ve started coloring the sun in yellow.
Use different colored dot markers to color in all of your design. Once you’ve finished one of the pictures you can choose another to color.
What Can I Use Instead of Dot Markers?
I really like dot markers because they make this activity so easy to prepare and the thicker size of the pens means that they’re great for toddlers and preschoolers too, however if you don’t have access to these then there’s lots of different ways that you can decorate these printables instead.
You could color in the dots using paint, either by finger painting or by dipping pom poms into the paint and then dabbing these into the circles.
Don’t want to use paints? Try gluing pom poms on or using dot stickers for a mess free activity.
