Free Printable Best Teacher Card Craft
We’ve shared so many cut and paste crafts but I love this teddy bear design as you can use the second page to turn it into a cute thank you teacher card, there’s even two different ways to make it as well as a choice of messages.
I know that teachers appreciate anything that they get from kids and families but I do think that it’s nice if you can make them a personalised card or gift and as this PDF is free to download it won’t cost you tons to create something special.
It’s also a great way for kids to practice their coloring and cutting and you can print as many copies as you like so if you’d like to do this activity with a group of kids then you can.
What’s Included In the Best Teacher Teddy Card Printable
This teacher craft is designed as a two page PDF with a black and white design that you can color in.
The first page is our build a teddy craft, if you wanted to you can just make this craft in it’s own too.
The second page is the extra parts you’ll need to make this into a best teacher craft. You’ll find three options of phrases; ‘best teacher’, ‘thank you’ and ‘#1 teacher’.
You also have the option of making this craft in two different ways. Either your teddy can hold a card for your teacher or it can hold a balloon with the message to your teacher on it.
Supplies Needed
- Teacher teddy craft PDF
- White paper or cardstock
- Coloring materials; crayons, coloring pencils or colored markers
- Scissors
- Glue
How To Make Your Best Teacher Card
Print both pages of the PDF file onto white paper or cardstock. Paper is easier for kids to cut while cardstock is sturdier.
Color in all the parts of the teddy on the first page and on the second page color in your choice of outside message and then either the card front and back and inside message if you are making a greeting card or the balloon string if you will be making that design.
Use scissors to cut out all the parts you have colored in.
Make your teddy by gluing the parts of the body together to look like the design on the printable. You will need to stick the ears and nose onto your bear’s face as well as gluing the arms and legs onto the body.
To make the teacher card glue the front and the back of the heart shaped card together using the tab and then stick the inside message inside and your choice of wording to the outside. Write a message to your teacher inside and then glue this onto your teddy bear.
To make the design with a balloon glue the outside message onto the top of the balloon string and then stick the finished balloon onto your bear with the string in the bears hand and sticking the balloon onto the bears ear to make it a bit more stable.
You could also glue this design onto the front of some cardstock that’s been folded in half to make it into a card for your teacher.
