- White paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Coloring pencils, markers or crayons
How To Make Your Bird’s Nest Craft
Start by printing the PDF file, normal white printer paper is absolutely fine for this craft and is what I’ve used but if you want to make it a little more sturdy then choose cardstock instead.
Color in all the parts of the printable.
Using your scissors, cut all of the different parts out. You’ll find a dotted line around each item to help guide you.
Glue the baby bird and eggs onto the inside part of the nest so that they will poke out of the nest when the craft is completed.
Glue the front of the birds nest on and then add your leaves and sticks to decorate it.
To finish your birds nest craft just add your bird and the worm.
How To Adapt This Activity
Print this PDF onto cardstock to make it a little more durable and then you could try adding some different materials to your birds nest rather than the ones that we’ve provided.
Colored yarn would be a great option or why not go outside and gather real leaves or twigs to glue on.

Instructions
- Print the birds nest craft template.
- Color in all the items on the printable.
